A well-attended Membership Meeting at the KM MIVH on Wednesday 26th Feb was a great success. A full update on the CBS was given by the Chairman, Treasurer and the Company Secretary.
CAMRA boss Paul Ainsworth praised the campaign and what it had achieved so far and also spoke about how 153 community pubs had been set up and were running successfully without any failures. And Ross Higham, from the White Horse Community Pub in Church Fenton, gave an inspirational address, describing how close co-operation between pubs, parish councils and community groups can achieve wonderful results. We look forward to another similar event in May when we hold our AGM and look forward to reporting even more successes then.

Look at our Thermometer! There’s a certain magic in the number 199500! it’s just a jot short of the fantastic number of 200,000! Which so early in the year 2020 does have a certain magic feel about it. And it makes our target of 230,000 eminently achievable. Keep pushing folks!

A meeting of the ‘Save the Henry Jenkins’ membership will be held at the Mechanics Institute Village Hall, Kirkby Malzeard at 19.00 on 26th February 2020. All members invited to attend at this important moment within our campaign. More details will be published soon and a full agenda provided on the day.
