Claybourn Appeal Activated!

The Appeal by David Fielder’s associate Justin Claybourn against the refusal of his recent planning application was activated on 31st January 2020. As expected, and previously mentioned, a formal Hearing, presided over by an Inspector from the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol, will be held in Harrogate on a date yet to be announced. Comments on the appeal have been invited to arrive no later than the 6th March. The HJCP Ltd urge everyone who has an interest in this situation to forward their opinion to the inspector. Your views are important, will be considered and could make a difference.

Will Parry, who has lived in Sawley for 3 years, will provide expert advice on Land & Property. A fully qualified Surveyor, after a career working within the established rural property agency industry, Will is about to launch his own Brokerage, Property and Valuation business.
Mark Owen, a 25-year resident of Kirkby Malzeard, will advise us on Legal & Governance matters. Mark works in the Leeds office of, and is a partner specialising in commercial property at, international law firm Womble Bond Dickinson. Both these appointments will expand our range of experience and expertise and will elevate our future approach to another level of professionalism

The Fountain

When the HJCP submitted an updated progress report to local parish magazine, ‘The Fountain’, in late November, for publication in December of 2019, our membership was 141 and the community shares we had sold amounted to £110,00. By the time we had submitted for the February edition our membership had swelled to 155 and the community shares to £174,250.00.
These figures have continued to rise, and to date – 30th January 2020 – are 157 and £177,500.00 respectively. Amazing! Thank you, parishioners!
